For the more active, there is a wide range of activities that can be organized through the Hotel: hiking, bicycle rental, horse riding, golf, rural tourism and visits to nearby villages full of natural beauty.

The forests and surroundings of La Escondida have a great wealth of animal life. Wild boar, deer and the already very rare Iberian lynx roam the land freely. The most avid ones will also see a great variety of birds and birds, including the golden eagle: a rare species in Europe.

Horse

A unique experience through fields of olive and almond trees, with beautiful horses trained for all levels of experience. (The stable is 20 minutes by car from the hotel).

Hiking and Bicycle Rides

This is one of the best areas of Spain for cycling. We offer customized tours for all levels (on demand), from beginners to more advanced that will take you through breathtaking landscapes, on all types of terrains and through famous natural parks. Keep in mind that these activities require a professional guide.

We have two mountain bikes, available for our customers, subject to availability and with rates.

Paragliding in Tandem

Our teacher Suby Lutolf is an expert with more than 28 years of experience. Among other competitions was winner of the Championship of Spain.

This is one of the best areas for hiking. If you wish, we can organize a guided tour. Our partner companies offer different routes with different levels of difficulty for wonderful cities and towns.
